Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly press conference on Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s game vs. Duke at Memorial Stadium.
Swinney gave the latest on starting quarterback Cade Klubnik, who, of course, did not play in the Tigers’ most recent game – the 35-24 loss to SMU on Oct. 18 — snapping his 34-game starting streak.
The senior signal caller sprained an ankle late in the third quarter of the win at Boston College on Oct. 11, an injury that does not require surgery.
After being unable to practice all of the week leading up to the SMU game, Klubnik still took the field during pregame and tried to give it a go.
