Swinney Asked if He’s Happy with Vizzina

During his weekly radio show Monday night, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was asked if he’s happy with what he’s seen so far at backup quarterback with Christopher Vizzina.

“Yeah. Oh yeah. We just need to get more opportunity for him,” Swinney said.

Vizzina has played in three games this season, completing 7-of-14 passes for 37 yards with one interception. He has also rushed for 21 yards on seven carries across the three contests in which he’s appeared.

The redshirt sophomore made his 2025 season debut vs. Troy on Sept. 6, and then completed 6-of-11 passes for 39 yards and rushed twice for 2 yards at North Carolina on Oct.
