Clemson has a longstanding policy in place under Dabo Swinney that recruits who are committed to the Tigers are not allowed to take visits to other schools.
So when news broke that four-star DE commit, Dre Quinn, was on campus at Tennessee on Saturday, eyebrows were raised.
Swinney was asked during his weekly press conference on Tuesday if that policy remains in place.
“Yes, that is a policy,” Swinney said. “And I don’t bring committed kids in here either. I don’t do that. I don’t visit committed guys here.”
Clemson landed a commitment from Quinn back in the summer, with the blue-chip talent choosing the Tigers over Texas.
