CLEMSON – The Tigers held the first scrimmage of camp in Death Valley Saturday. One of the team’s top freshmen missed the scrimmage with an injury.

Freshman defensive tackle Amare Adams was held out of the scrimmage.

“Amare was out today. He kind of sprained his ankle a little bit yesterday so he wasn’t able to go today but he will be back soon,” said Swinney.

Adams has received plenty of praise from the staff and his teammates during camp.
