Clemson has landed a commitment from a top in-state prospect.
Left-handed pitcher Parker Davis (Fountain Inn) announced the verbal pledge late Wednesday. The southpaw is coming off an impressive performance at a Prep Baseball Future Games event for Team Carolinas.
The 6-foot-1 rising high school senior pitcher’s fastball topped out around 90 mph at a recent event. He also throws a slider with some bite in the 79-81 mph range, along with an effective changeup.
