South Carolina has reportedly parted ways with this assistant coach.
The Gamecocks have fired offensive coordinator Mike Shula, per multiple reports.
The news comes a day after South Carolina (3-6, 1-6 SEC) managed only 230 total yards and scored just two touchdowns in a 30-14 loss at Ole Miss on Saturday.
South Carolina is currently averaging just 19.7 points per game (119th in FBS) and 294.1 total yards per game (131st in FBS). The Gamecocks have allowed 34 sacks – in the country, only Auburn (37) has allowed more.
Shula was in his first season as South Carolina’s offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.
