With the college football season set to kick off soon, ESPN released its preseason All-America team on Monday, and it features several Clemson stars.
Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik was named the first-team QB, over LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier.
Of course, the two signal-callers will face off in the season-opening showdown between Clemson and LSU at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium on Aug. 30 (7:30 p.m., ABC).
“Klubnik was one of the most improved players in the country last season. His next step is proving that he’s one the best players in the country,” ESPN’s Chris Low wrote.
