Clemson legend Hunter Renfrow only had one catch for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, but it was a huge one.
Renfrow came up clutch late in the fourth quarter, helping the Panthers to a 30-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Right before the two-minute warning, on just the second time he was targeted all day, Renfrow hauled in a 7-yard pass from Panthers quarterback Bryce Young to convert a fourth-and-4 and move the ball to the Dallas 33-yard line.
It turned out to be the play of the day, as it helped the Panthers get in position for Ryan Fitzgerald’s game-winning 33-yard field goal as time expired.
