Reed, DeVoe say defense helped Tigers find their rhythm

Despite early offensive struggles, Clemson was able to put away Louisville in overtime 74-69 Saturday at Littlejohn Coliseum.

With the victory, Clemson recorded its 10th straight win this season and started the ACC season 3-0, the best conference start since the 2006-2007 season.

Two key cogs in the win were veterans Marquise Reed and Gabe DeVoe. Reed recorded 24 points, just one point shy of his career high, scoring 18 of those points in the second half and overtime. DeVoe had 13 points including his back to back three pointers that lifted the Tigers to their victory in overtime.
