One of Clemson’s portal targets is heading elsewhere.
Georgia Southern transfer offensive lineman Johnnie Brown committed to Louisville on Tuesday after visiting. Brown visited Clemson the day before. He also visited West Virginia over the weekend.
The 6-foot-3, 315-pound redshirt junior earned All-Sunbelt honors in 2025 and will have one season of eligibility left.
With Brown now off the board, that leaves the Tigers still in search of a veteran offensive lineman to add to the roster.
