CLEMSON — Clemson opened fall camp Wednesday behind the Allen Reeves Football Complex. The media was allowed to watch the first six and a half periods in Day 1 of camp.
Below are some of the things we were able to observe from practice.
–The most noticeable thing to start practice was the Tigers’ practice cap. All players, with quarterbacks, punters and kickers being the exception, were wearing new protective caps. The caps are the exact replica of the Clemson helmet.
–As Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney reported earlier on Thursday, running back Jay Haynes was in a green jersey.
