My, how quickly things can change.
Two weeks ago, the Clemson Baseball team was riding high. The Tigers were headed to Raleigh fresh off a win over a Top 5 Georgia team. The Tigers were 36-10 overall, 13-5 in ACC play and firmly entrenched as a Top 8 national seed heading into that three-game set at NC State.
Since then, the wheels have fallen off. The Tigers were swept by the Wolfpack in rather dominating fashion. Even after that, most experts still projected Clemson as one of those ever-important Top 8 national seeds.
However, the Tigers weren’t able to right the ship the following weekend in Tallahassee.
