CHARLOTTE — While many high school prospects like to stretch the recruiting process out into the summer after official visits, Gordon Sellars didn’t need that long.
The four-star wideout announced a commitment to Clemson on Friday, choosing the Tigers over South Carolina, Georgia, Michigan and North Carolina A&T. However, this was a battle that ultimately came down to the two in-state rivals, with Clemson coming out on top.
Sellars was a frequent visitor to Clemson over the past year. He made two gameday visits in the fall, then returned for the Elite Retreat in early March.
