With John Grass being named the new head coach at Samford last week, multiple Clemson assistants are expected to join his staff.
Reports have emerged naming two current members of the Tigers’ support staff who will join Grass at Samford.
Dabo Swinney’s son, Drew Swinney, is reportedly leaving Clemson to work with wide receivers on Grass’ staff. Swinney is finishing up his third full season on Clemson’s staff and his first in offensive player development and as assistant wide receivers coach.
Swinney appeared in 40 career games as a wide receiver for the Tigers from 2018-22, playing on Clemson squads that earned four ACC championships, three College Football Playoff berths and the 2018 national title.
