Clemson cornerback Ryan Carter says the Tigers’ young defensive backs have really been playing well as the Tigers head into today’s first scrimmage of the spring. It will mark Clemson’s eighth practice of the spring before they break for spring break next week.
“Trayvon Mullen, especially, he was a younger guy last year and he got a couple of snaps, but he has been doing really well and has been stepping up with the loss of Cordrea (Tankersley) and things like that so he is doing really well,” Carter said. “Isaiah Simmons, K’Von Wallace, a lot of those young DBs are playing really well right now.
