During his weekly radio show Monday night, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney gave the latest injury update on star wide receiver Antonio Williams.
Swinney said Williams did not practice Monday and labeled his status as “day-to-day” ahead of Saturday’s game vs. Troy.
“He was over doing rehab stuff,” Swinney said of Williams on Monday.
Williams injured his hamstring on the second play of Clemson’s second possession in this past weekend’s loss to LSU and did not return to the game.
Last season, in his third year at Clemson, Williams recorded career highs with 75 receptions, 904 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns across 14 games (all starts) en route to first-team All-ACC honors.
