McCloud working at DB, could it be permanent?

Clemson wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud is working at cornerback. That’s right cornerback.

Head coach Dabo Swinney decided to put the wide receiver at corner so he can stay sharp. McCloud, who injured his wrist over the summer, can’t catch the football due to a cast on his hand so when he is unable to work with the receivers he is working with the cornerbacks.

“He has a cast on his hand so he can’t do a lot so we have actually worked him on defense some,” Swinney said after practice on Saturday. “We have sent him over.
