Lightning Advisory Puts Clemson–Syracuse game on alert as Tigers trail 24–14

Mother Nature has entered the picture at Death Valley. With lightning detected within 15 miles of Memorial Stadium, the Clemson–Syracuse game is officially under a lightning advisory.

Per protocol, play will be halted if strikes are detected within eight miles of the stadium. That possibility looms large as the Tigers attempt to rally from a 24–14 deficit against the Orange.

The warning comes at a pivotal juncture, as Syracuse has seized momentum and Clemson desperately needs a spark. A weather stoppage could reset the tempo — or stretch an already uphill climb for Dabo Swinney’s squad.
