Former Clemson star Dexter Lawrence didn’t take kindly to the criticism he received from a New York Giants legend.
Carl Banks said “nobody respects” Lawrence due to the Giants star defensive tackle’s performance this season.
“Nobody respects you anymore — nobody,” said Banks, a two-time Super Bowl champion and 1987 Pro Bowl/All-Pro linebacker with the Giants, who is currently a radio broadcaster for the team.
Lawrence was asked about Banks’ criticism on Wednesday and fired back, saying that Banks is “delusional.”
“He’s delusional,” Lawrence said, via the New York Post. “His words are delusional.
