CHARLOTTE — Trevor Lawrence and Clemson’s offense continued its hot start to the game with a 59-yard Lawrence touchdown pass to Justyn Ross.
Needing just four plays to go 75 yards, Lawrence and Travis Etienne combined for 16 rushing yards before Ross’ 59-yard catch and run. Following the score, Clemson led 14-7 with 6:22 left in the first quarter.
