Lawrence expects Galloway to be a big help in the playoff

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – After serving a year-long suspension due to testing positive for trace amounts of ostarine, a banned performance-enhancing drug, Clemson tight end Braden Galloway was recently cleared by the NCAA to play in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday against Ohio State.

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is glad to get another one of his weapons back and knows Galloway has been itching to play in a game again.

“We’ve talked a little bit, especially before the season just about this year, then now since it’s gotten closer every week to him being able to come back and play,” Lawrence said Tuesday during his Fiesta Bowl press conference at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn.
