Edward Hendrix knows that not just anyone gets an offer from Clemson, especially those that play the receiver position.
So, when the wide receiver from Woodson High School in Washington, D.C., heard from his coach on Thursday that he received an offer from Clemson, he felt fortunate and blessed.
Clemson’s offer marks the fifth for Hendrix, a 2018 prospect who also holds offers from Bowling Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Toledo.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pounder recently concluded his junior campaign with six catches for 145 yards in Woodson’s 13-0 loss to Friendship Collegiate Academy in the DCSAA Class AA championship game on Saturday.
