This weekend is a big one for the Clemson Baseball team.
After being swept last weekend at NC State, the Tigers have now dropped four of their past five games. It is the first weekend series Erik Bakich’s team has dropped all season. However, despite last weekend’s result, Clemson fell just one spot to No. 3 in the D1 Baseball Top 25 rankings.
“We didn’t expect to go wire-to-wire,” Bakich told TCI after the sweep. “Hoping we would, but that is usually not the way it goes. The best teams, who are the best teams at the end, usually have to get through something, some type of adversity.
