Jackson Carman: Freshman stepped up at Boston College when number was called

The Tigers overcame many factors to get the win over a tough Boston College team in Chestnut Hill last Saturday. The injury of starting offensive lineman Mitch Hyatt was one.

Hyatt is a four-year starter for the Tigers that recently broke the record for snaps played in a career by any player at Clemson, so his absence was huge. Hyatt left the game with a stinger on his left side.

But just like always, it was next man up for the number two team in the country. This time the void was filled by freshman left tackle Jackson Carman.
