Clemson senior right tackle Blake Miller is getting ready to accomplish a remarkable feat this Saturday, when the Tigers host Florida State at Memorial Stadium.
After the game kicks off, Miller will start his 50th consecutive game — and break Dalton Freeman’s school record for consecutive starts by a non-specialist (49 from 2009-12).
Miller has started all 49 games played by Clemson since his arrival as a true freshman in 2022. The record he’s closing in on is even more impressive when considering the physical toll and wear and tear of playing a position as demanding as the offensive line is.
