GLENDALE, AZ – Clemson was punched in the mouth during the first half of the Fiesta Bowl. Faced with the decision to tap out, the Trevor Lawrence and the Tigers punched back.
Down 16-0 and with the night looking bleak, the Tigers fought back to make it 16-14 at the half.
PLAYER OF THE HALF:When it looked like nothing could go right for Clemson on offense, there was Trevor Lawrence. The sophomore quarterback made the plays with his arm late in the second quarter, but it was his legs that were the difference.
