After health issues kept Hunter Renfrow out of the league last season, the legendary former Clemson wide receiver is now making his NFL comeback as a member of the Carolina Panthers.
And according to Panthers head coach Dave Canales, Renfrow has made big leaps forward since signing with the team last month.
Renfrow agreed to a deal with the Panthers on April 27, and in a press conference this week, Canales gave his assessment of where Renfrow is physically right now as he returns to action after not playing in 2024.
Being around Renfrow so far, Canales said he’s seeing “the muscle memory of a guy who’s been a really good player” in the league and that he’s improving substantially on a weekly basis.
