The 2016 Clemson football schedule was released Tuesday afternoon and there were several positives, but there is a negative floating around Tiger nation that is an example of blatant disrespect from the conference.
Clemson football is playing on a Friday night. Yes, that’s right. A Friday night.
Now, I understand that the ACC has an obligation to fill the TV schedule on Friday night, but you don’t do it with Clemson football.
You don’t do it with your premiere program. The teams that play on Friday night are teams that no one would watch otherwise.
Not only do you give the best team in your conference a short week for the second time, but you put them on Friday night with the likes of High School Football and the MEAC.
