NBA Summer League play is a chance for younger players to prove themselves in front of scouts and executives who are looking to make some G-League signings or two-way deals.
That includes some former Clemson basketball stars like Chase Hunter, Viktor Lakhin (although he's injured and hasn't played), and PJ Hall. Those guys are all hoping for legitimate contracts, and they know it's not going to be easy to earn them.
However, Hall is doing darn near everything to make sure Charlotte signs him.
In his first Summer League game against the Jazz, he came off the bench and scored seven points with three rebounds and he only played 10 minutes because he had six fouls (you can commit 10 fouls in NBA Summer League before fouling out).
