A priority offensive line target will be back in Clemson in the near future.
Four-star Carter Jones (Poquoson, VA) tells The Clemson Insider he plans to be back on campus for the annual Elite Retreat on March 7. Jones earned first-team All-District and All-Region honors as a junior.
“I am very excited for it,” Jones told TCI.
Jones, who picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers back in June, has a family connection to Clemson. His uncle, Glenn Rountree, was a starting offensive lineman for the Tigers. Rountree became just the sixth offensive lineman since the 1980s to earn a starting job as a freshman.
