Kirk Herbstreit showed some love to Clemson during Saturday’s edition of College GameDay.
Herbstreit, ESPN’s lead college football analyst, credited the Tigers (5-5, 4-4 ACC) after they came away with a 20-19 victory at No. 20 Louisville (7-3, 4-3) on Friday night.
“Not a pretty game, but give Clemson credit,” Herbstreit said. “This team continues to fight despite such a bad year that they’ve had.”
Clemson pushed its all-time record against Louisville to 9-1 and remained undefeated in road games in the series by improving to 5-0 all-time in Louisville.
The Tigers concluded ACC play with a 4-4 record to finish .
