‘Great Days Ahead’ for Redshirt Freshman RB

CLEMSON — Clemson running back David Eziomume has seen his minimal snaps decrease even more in recent weeks.

After beginning the season as the backup to Adam Randall and seeing action on each of the first seven contests, Eziomume has not logged a single snap over the last two games.

“Just not enough snaps,” head coach Dabo Swinney said. “I mean, that’s just where we are. We would like to get them all in there, we would like to play them all, but it has got to work out that way.”

With the emergence of Gideon Davidson, the true freshman has now passed Eziomume on the depth chart.
