Clemson offensive coordinator Garrett Riley met with the media on Wednesday and gave an injury update on starting quarterback Cade Klubnik.
Clemson wide receiver Tyler Brown disclosed on Monday that Klubnik is dealing with a thumb injury.
The senior signal caller was not throwing the football during practice on Monday as the Tigers continued to prep for the Pinstripe Bowl vs. Penn State. He was taking reps, but just wasn’t actually making any throws.
On Wednesday, Riley commented on Klubnik’s health status and availability for the bowl game, saying he “absolutely” expects Klubnik to be ready to go against the Nittany Lions.
