One of Clemson’s top two running back targets is no longer taking an official visit to Clemson.
Four-star RB Carsyn Baker (Langston Hughes, GA) has informed the school that he no longer plans to attend the official visit weekend set to begin on May 30. Ohio State, Georgia, Florida State and South Carolina were the other four finalists he announced in April.
Baker is one of two running back targets that was set to attend. That leaves four-star Jae Lamar (Colquitt County) as the only back currently scheduled to be on hand that weekend.
Clemson zeroed in on Baker early this year, with running backs coach CJ Spiller visiting him multiple times during the contact period in January.
