Cornell Powell was signed by the Houston Texans days before Saturday’s preseason game. Powell seized the opportunity to make his case for making the 53 man roster with the Texans.
The former XFL standout led the Texans with six receptions for 63 yards.
Powell made his case for a return to the NFL with a strong XFL season where he caught seven touchdowns.
