Former Tiger Waived by NBA Team

A former Clemson big man has been waived by this NBA team.

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Monday they have waived former Tiger center Viktor Lakhin, one day after signing him to a training camp contract on Sunday.

It’s a typical signing and waiving roster move for the Thunder going into the 2025-26 NBA season, as they are filling out their G League roster. Expect Lakhin to be added to the Oklahoma City Blue, the G League affiliate of the Thunder.

After spending the first four years of his college career at Cincinnati, Lakhin transferred to Clemson for his final college campaign in 2024-25.
