A former Clemson offensive lineman has found a home in the NFL.
After going undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, Marcus Tate has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles announced the signing of Tate on Monday.
The 6-5, 321-pounder participated in the Eagles’ rookie camp earlier this spring.
Tate played in 2,502 career offensive snaps over 42 games, including 37 starts, from 2021-’24 despite battling several injuries during his Clemson career. The South Florida native became only the third Clemson true freshman offensive lineman since 1972 to start a season opener when he started Clemson’s 2021 opener against Georgia in Charlotte.
