A former Clemson wide receiver has found a new home in pro football.
On Tuesday, the Canadian Football League (CFL)’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced they have signed Joseph Ngata to their practice roster.
Ngata, 24, was released by the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders on June 1 after signing with the team on May 1. Prior to that, the 6-foot-3, 217-pounder signed with the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League on Jan. 22 before being released on March 20.
Ngata went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, then signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent that May.
