Former Tiger Calls Out Coaching Staff

One of the Clemson players who are set to hit the NCAA transfer portal is Keith Adams Jr.

The punishing running back, nicknamed “Hammerhead” by Clemson’s coaching staff, plans to enter the portal when it opens on Jan. 2.

As a redshirt junior this season, Adams played in 11 games while rushing for 71 yards and one touchdown. The 5-foot-9, 220-pounder played only 36 total offensive snaps and received just 14 carries this year.

On Sunday, Adams took to social media and appeared to call out Clemson’s coaching staff for how his talents were utilized.

“I was not used the right way at my previous school and have proven multiple times that I am worthy to play,” Adams wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
