Former Clemson WR Taking Advantage of Opportunity

A former Clemson wideout is impressing in his first taste of NFL action and is taking advantage of his opportunity this preseason.

Beaux Collins, now an undrafted rookie with the New York Giants, has been receiving first-team reps with Giants star receiver Malik Nabers sidelined due to an injury.

Collins missed the Giants’ first preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, but he started at wide receiver in the Giants’ Week 2 preseason game against the New York Jets this past Saturday and was on the receiving end of a highlight-reel play.

On the Giants’ third offensive play of the game, Giants quarterback Russell Wilson heaved the ball deep downfield to Collins, who caught the pass and ran another 26 yards for an 80-yard gain before being tackled just shy of the goal line.
