A former Clemson target is reopening his recruitment, and being a defensive end, he would certainly fill a position of need.
Three-star Cam Brooks (Thomas County Central, GA) announced late Sunday that he was decommitting from Cal, shortly after it announced that head coach Justin Wilcox was being fired.
“Due to recent coaching changes, I will be re-opening my recruitment,” Brooks posted to social media. “Cal will definitely still be a top school.”
With three-star Dre Quinn decommitting from Clemson back in September, the Tigers are still possibly looking to add one more player at the position to the 2026 recruiting class.
