Former Clemson star Cam Cannarella shined in his professional debut this week.
On Wednesday, the 21-year-old outfielder made his pro debut with the Beloit Sky Carp, the high-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
Cannarella made a good impression in his first pro contest, going 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles. He also scored the lone run of the game for the Sky Carp in their 12-1 loss to the South Bend Cubs, the high-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.
Cannarella was selected by the Marlins in the Competitive Balance Round A (No. 43 overall) of the 2025 MLB Draft.
