Former Clemson Star Reportedly Has New Coaching Job

A former Clemson standout reportedly has a new coaching job.

Former Tiger offensive lineman Chris Hairston has been hired as the new offensive line coach for Winston-Salem State University, according to HBCU Gameday.

Hairston, a graduate of Carver High School in Winston-Salem, has been coaching at Charlotte’s Rocky River High School for the last three seasons, according to the report.

Hairston, a three-year offensive line starter at Clemson, played for the Tigers from 2007-10. He started 36-of-47 games he played for the Tigers, playing a total of 2,260 snaps in his collegiate career. He made 22 consecutive starts, and in 2010, he was tabbed a first-team All-ACC selection at tackle.
