Former Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins recorded his third career interception on Sunday, helping the Baltimore Ravens (2-5) to a 30-16 victory over the Chicago Bears (4-3) in Week 8 of the NFL season.
Around nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, on second-and-10 with Chicago backed up deep in its own territory, Wiggins intercepted Bears quarterback Caleb Williams at the 18-yard line and returned the pick 9 yards to the Chicago 9.
Baltimore led 16-13 at the time of Wiggins’ interception, and his big play set up a Ravens touchdown two plays later that extended their lead to 23-13 with 8:13 remaining in the contest.
