Entering Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Texans were out of the mix for the postseason. But one of their best players lived up to his reputation.
The former Clemson Tigers star receiver nicknamed “Nuk” has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this season, and Sunday was one of his premier performances.
In spite of catching passes from two quarterbacks, both backups filling in for former Clemson superstar Deshaun Watson, Hopkins couldn’t be stopped. Early in the third quarter, Hopkins had 10 receptions for 144 yards an two touchdowns.
