A former Clemson standout is headed back to Tigertown to join Dabo Swinney’s coaching staff.
The Clemson Insider confirmed Monday morning that Clemson is hiring former linebacker Corico Wright, who has been the defensive pass game coordinator/cornerbacks coach at Delaware since 2023, and is considered a rising star in the coaching business.
He is coming back to Clemson to help coach the secondary.
Wright played at Clemson from 2009-12. He tallied 200 tackles along with 17.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in a 52-game career (26 starts) at Clemson.
