A former Clemson football player has officially entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
Freshman athlete Marquise Henderson announced Friday afternoon that Clemson has submitted his notification of transfer and he’s now officially in the portal.
Clemson announced Thursday that Henderson was dismissed from the Tigers’ program. Clemson did not explain why he was dismissed from the team.
“Clemson has made the decision to dismiss Marquise Henderson from its program. We wish him the best as he moves forward,” a Clemson spokesperson said in a release.
