Former Clemson Hurler Headed to Rival Gamecocks

A Clemson transfer is headed to play for the school’s biggest rival.

Former Tigers’ hurler Hudson Lee announced a commitment to South Carolina late Tuesday.

The left-handed reliever spent one season with Clemson, registering a 5.79 ERA across 14 innings pitched. In 15 appearances, Lee was 0-0, allowing 10 hits, one homer, 13 walks and 19 strikeouts.

After spending his first season at Wake Forest, this will be Lee’s third stop in three seasons. He is also the sixth former Clemson baseball player to transfer to the Gamecocks.
