Ferrell still thinks there's a lot to work on

The defense of second-ranked Clemson played up to its standard in its 34-7 victory over Boston College Saturday at Memorial Stadium, holding the Eagles to just 238 yards of total offense.

After the Tigers’ victory at Louisville last Saturday night, defensive end Clelin Ferrell had hopes of seeing the defense come out stronger this week, but he still feels that there is work to be done.

“We have a lot to work on,” the sophomore said after the game. “We’re battled tested so fighting until the end was going to be a big thing for me. I know we can do that, play all four quarters, but just understanding that we have a lot to work on.
