Feaster defends his titles

Tavien Feaster is still the fastest man in the state.

Just like he did as a sophomore, Feaster swept the 4A 100- and 200-meter titles over the weekend.

“It’s definitely a great goal and great accomplishment,” Feaster told TheClemsonInsider on Sunday afternoon.

“I just wanted to keep pushing myself. Just really, it’s motivation each year to defend my title and to do what I do best.”

Committed to Clemson since February, the Spartanburg High School running back posted times of 10.42 and 21.11.

“Those were outstanding numbers that I posted yesterday,” Feaster said. “I was really focused yesterday and I just did what I had to do, to mark myself in the record books and just be a state champion again.
